As an essential member of a nationally recognized Security Firm, the Security Officer will:

  • Utilize their strong communication and decision-making abilities in all aspects of Site Security and Safety.
  • Adhere to Site Safety and Emergency Protocols during Fire Alarms and other urgent situations.
  • Comply with Post Orders specific to each assigned location.

Engage in site-specific training:

  • Follow instructions from Supervisors, manage traffic and pedestrian flow at site entry points, and conduct vehicle and bag inspections.
  • Conduct patrols of designated areas on foot or via vehicle to ensure the security of personnel, buildings, and equipment.
  • Monitor the surroundings for safety violations or potential hazards.
  • Identify and report irregularities, including security breaches, safety risks, and emergency scenarios.
  • Provide assistance to individuals in need.
  • Contact emergency services, such as police, fire, or medical personnel, as necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for information in a professional manner.
  • Utilize two-way radios and computer systems effectively.
  • Be open to completing training courses as mandated by the Security Firm or clients.
