Job Title: Director, Integrated Digital Transformation

Grand River Hospital and St. Mary's General Hospital are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Integrated Digital Transformation to lead their digital transformation efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with the hospital's vision, goals, and strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop a digital transformation strategy that prioritizes opportunities for technological advancements and aligns with the hospital's vision and goals.
    • Collaborate with departments such as Innovation, Strategy, and Research to identify and prioritize opportunities for technological advancements.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee Senior Project Managers and other resources dedicated to implementing digital projects across various departments.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Innovation and Improvement:
    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the hospital.
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies in healthcare and assess their potential impact on organizational goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with clinical and administrative leaders to ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives.
    • Foster partnerships with external stakeholders to drive innovation within the hospital ecosystem.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's level preferred).
  • Project Management Professional and Change Management Certifications (preferred).
  • Education, experience, or certifications in artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, or data analytics.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare applications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience with clinical and corporate applications in a hospital setting.
  • Extensive experience in IT management and digital transformation, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven leadership experience managing diverse technology teams.
  • Proficiency in IT infrastructure management.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution, service, and contract management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation.
