Key Responsibilities:
- Lead small to medium-sized projects or play significant roles in larger project deliveries.
- Conduct engineering calculations and assessments for various structural materials under the guidance of Senior Engineers.
- Utilize advanced design software and finite element modeling, grounded in a solid understanding of fundamental principles.
- Manage and coordinate projects with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality project outputs that meet exceptional standards.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed drawings, specifications, and ensure quality assurance.
- Draft technical reports and proposals.
- Occasionally travel for field reviews, inspections, and condition assessments.
- Promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace and in design practices.
- Leverage existing relationships and develop new connections to support project acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Structural Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in Structural Engineering.
- Proficient in computational design and familiar with software such as ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, SAFE, and/or Robot.
- Experience in a variety of project types, including institutional, healthcare, transportation, and commercial sectors.
- Strong organizational and technical writing skills.
- A valid driver's license is considered an asset.
