Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and emptying trash cans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a maintenance role
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
