About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at C-Gas Management Inc. in a retail service establishment setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing daily operations, supervising staff, and making key decisions to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, and plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless execution.
  • Staff Management: Manage staff, assign duties, and determine staffing requirements to meet business needs.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine merchandise and services to be sold, locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, and oversee inventory management.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Payroll and Administration: Oversee payroll administration and supervise office and volunteer staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a retail or related field.
  • Work Setting: Retail service establishment in a rural area, willing to relocate.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Point of sale system, spreadsheet, and MS Outlook.
  • Area of Work Experience: Tourism.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, own vehicle, and public transportation not available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
