Job Summary

Oyster Freight Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Glass Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing windshields, windows, and sunroofs on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality workmanship
  • Plan and execute repair work to be performed
  • Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling
  • Clean and maintain the work area
  • Replace front-end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. Steel-toed safety boots are required.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility, initiative, and a team player attitude
  • Reliability and accuracy
  • Client focus and excellent judgment
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 35 to 44 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
