Position Overview

As a Landscape Operations Supervisor at Artistic Landscaping Ltd., you will play a crucial role in overseeing our landscaping projects. Your expertise will ensure that our outdoor spaces are maintained to the highest standards.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role
Work Environment

This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot temperatures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, manage, and schedule a team of 11-15 staff members
  • Plan and oversee grounds maintenance activities
  • Estimate labor and material requirements for projects
  • Coordinate the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls
  • Supervise landscape construction projects from start to finish
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Address work-related issues, provide technical guidance, and recommend improvements for productivity and quality
  • Establish effective work schedules and procedures

Your primary area of expertise will be in landscape construction.

Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding and requires:

  • Attention to detail
  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking
