Job Summary

Nushuk Plumbing & Heating Limited is seeking a skilled Plumber Assistant to join our team. As a Plumber Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our plumbers in various tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist plumbers in loading and unloading construction materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Material Handling: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Site Work: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, as required, to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Transportation: Willing to travel and possess a valid driver's license, with public transportation not available.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with physically demanding tasks, tight deadlines, and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Capabilities: Handle heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accuracy, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Availability: Available for shift or on-call work and willing to relocate for this position.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in this field of employment.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
