GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and reliable CBSA Transportation Security Guard to join our team in Regina. As a CBSA Transportation Security Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of individuals and their belongings during transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and verify the mechanical condition of fleet vehicles.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip searches of fleet vehicles to ensure security and compliance.
  • Complete post-trip cleaning and sanitization of fleet vehicles.
  • Search individuals and their luggage.
  • Log individuals' valuables before taking charge of them.
  • Transport individuals, luggage, and personal effects.
  • Ensure the control and safety custody of individuals during transport.
  • Adhere to child vehicle safety procedures and laws.
  • Pick up or drop off and escort individuals between the vehicle and end destination.
  • Escort individuals and their luggage through the airport.
  • Escort individuals coming from or going to various Provincial and Federal facilities, police stations, courthouses, airports, IRB offices, hospitals, consular offices, or embassies to their end destination.
  • Confirm departure of individuals as part of departure verification procedures.
  • Complete paperwork as required and submit to the Shift Supervisor and CBSA.
  • Ensure the transfer of individuals' property (e.g., money or valuables or both, medication, etc.).
  • Inform satellite offices of the arrival of individuals in CBSA's custody, as required.
  • Complete incident reports of accidents or damage to the vehicle before the end of each shift.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and people skills.
  • Previous experience in the security industry.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Flexible availability for day shift 0800-1600.
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment.
  • Ability to stand on foot and walk for long periods of time.
Career Requirements:
  • Able to pass a CBSA Enhanced Reliability Contract Security Program (CSP) Reliability Status.
  • Clean Vulnerable Sector Check Criminal background check.
  • Saskatchewan Security Guard Training Certificate.
  • Full Class 5 Drivers license with clean drivers abstract.
  • First Aid and AED.
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Canada Security Clearance (RAIC).
  • Over 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Residence for reliability clearance.
