We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sterile Processing Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing medical supplies and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and decontaminate medical supplies and equipment
- Assemble and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Distribute medical supplies and equipment to the operating room
- Transport specimens and patients as needed
- Perform related clerical duties, such as maintaining records and files
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a Sterile Supply Processing Program
- One year of recent experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be required to work in a clean and sterile environment and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
