Join the City of Toronto's Finance Department as a Financial Planning Analyst and contribute to the development of the city's financial plans and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:- Consolidate budget and plan information into SAP and Captor systems
- Prepare 10-year Capital Budget Summary, debt targets, and other detailed analysis
- Participate in managing Capital Budget System maintenance process
- Provide training and assistance to users on SAP and Captor systems
- Perform quality assurance of data received from divisional programs and Financial Planning Analysts
- Prepare Capital Variance worksheets and memos to programs
- Prepare Capital Budget Summary, debt target schedule, and 10-year plan
- Assist in the allocation of CFC funding and updating Capital Budget Submission, Guidelines
- Considerable experience in Capital Budget program support and expertise
- Experience with enterprise-wide financial and capital budgeting systems such as SAP and Captor
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and produce results within tight timeframes
- Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential matters
- Highly developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
