Job Title: Financial Planning Analyst

Join the City of Toronto's Finance Department as a Financial Planning Analyst and contribute to the development of the city's financial plans and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consolidate budget and plan information into SAP and Captor systems
  • Prepare 10-year Capital Budget Summary, debt targets, and other detailed analysis
  • Participate in managing Capital Budget System maintenance process
  • Provide training and assistance to users on SAP and Captor systems
  • Perform quality assurance of data received from divisional programs and Financial Planning Analysts
  • Prepare Capital Variance worksheets and memos to programs
  • Prepare Capital Budget Summary, debt target schedule, and 10-year plan
  • Assist in the allocation of CFC funding and updating Capital Budget Submission, Guidelines
Requirements:
  • Considerable experience in Capital Budget program support and expertise
  • Experience with enterprise-wide financial and capital budgeting systems such as SAP and Captor
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and produce results within tight timeframes
  • Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential matters
  • Highly developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
