About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team at Lodex Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our vehicle operators and crews, ensuring the smooth delivery of goods and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatching and Scheduling: Coordinate the dispatch of vehicles and crews to meet customer demands, taking into account factors such as traffic, weather, and road conditions.
  • Communication and Coordination: Communicate with vehicle operators, crews, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and execution of transportation plans.
  • Logistics and Operations: Monitor and manage the movement of goods and vehicles, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, cargo, and other relevant data, providing regular reports to management as required.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, such as accidents or natural disasters, to ensure the safety of our drivers and the secure delivery of goods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
