Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Varsteel Ltd. as an Inside Sales professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, identifying and soliciting potential clients, and developing proposals to illustrate the benefits of our steel supply services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to increase sales revenue
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies
- Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to clients
- Manage and maintain accurate records of sales interactions and client communications
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience in the steel distribution industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other sales-related software
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant education or certifications an asset
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will work in a brand new facility with a fast-paced environment. The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail is essential. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
