Job Summary:
As a Sales Representative at National Concrete Accessories, you will play a crucial role in growing our customer base by selling a variety of products and services to new and existing customers. You will assist in training new Inside Sales Representatives on product knowledge and system training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to provide sales and quotation support, upsell products and services whenever possible.
- Provide technical support to customers and other staff on the application of products, write up customer orders for pick up and delivery, and maintain showroom inventory.
- Assist in training new staff on products, computer systems, and working with customers.
- Perform cash/sales transactions and order entry for customers, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ship and track orders, maintain records of rental inventory, status, and ensure billing is completed each month.
- Maintain technical knowledge by reviewing technical publications, attending product knowledge meetings, and educational workshops.
- Follow all safety practices as outlined in the health & safety manual.
Requirements:
- Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.
- Generally 5-7 years of experience in a related area of responsibility.
Work Environment:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunity to move about.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.
