POSITION SUMMARY:
The Medical Laboratory Technologist is an essential member of the healthcare team, responsible for the collection, processing, and analysis of biological specimens. This role is vital in delivering accurate diagnostic information to support patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
2. Conduct a variety of laboratory tests and procedures.
3. Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
4. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient outcomes.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The position requires working in a fast-paced laboratory setting, providing 24/7 support to meet the needs of the healthcare system. The Medical Laboratory Technologist must be adaptable and ready to respond to the dynamic demands of the laboratory environment.
