Job Summary

S & S GORAYA LTD. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance

Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.

Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Procedures

Perform pre-trip inspections to identify any potential issues and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy. After each trip, conduct a post-trip inspection to document any issues and perform necessary repairs.

Cargo Handling and Security

Ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods, including tarping and securing cargo as needed.

Communication and Record-Keeping

Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information, and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Requirements
  • Qualifications

AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience as a truck driver, with a strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.

Work Environment

40 hours per week, with a focus on safe and efficient transportation of goods.
