We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Specialist II to join our team at Schlumberger Canada Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by ensuring safe, accurate, and on-time product and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attain excellence in learning and competency events to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies.
  • Ensure safe and compliant operations at the well site, job location, or plant while rigging up and down equipment, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Operate valves, both manual and hydraulic, with precision and accuracy to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Install wellhead components, including hangers, slips, and seal assemblies, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Operate accumulators, grease skids, and lubricators to maintain equipment and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other services, including drilling rigs, service rigs, and Frac operations, to achieve seamless and efficient operations.
  • Utilize a laptop and apps to complete safety records and reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Engage with customers to promote company products and services, building strong relationships and driving business growth.
  • Mentor and train others as required, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team performance.
  • Meet the minimum educational requirements, including a High School Diploma or GED, and preferably a college diploma.
  • Possess 1-3 years of oilfield experience, with previous experience in wellhead installation being an asset.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, mechanical aptitude, and analytical thinking skills to excel in this role.
  • Hold a clean driving record with a full Class 5 non-GDL license.
  • Be eligible to legally work and reside in Canada without sponsorship.
