Essential HR is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Stair Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of high-quality stairs and railings in residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate the installation of stairs and railings to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Lead a team of stair installation technicians to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
  • Conduct site assessments to identify potential installation challenges and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to complete work activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local and company health and safety laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, job sites, and shop/yard areas.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on stair installation.
  • 2 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Valid G driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete construction practices.
  • Ability to complete basic calculations.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requires good manual dexterity.
  • Requires excellent stamina.
  • Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work in all-weather environments.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate: $25.00 per hour.
  • Full-time position with 40-44 hours per week.
