We are seeking a highly skilled Geomatics Engineer to join our team at Great North Drain Ltd. as a key member of our land survey and construction team.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing land survey and construction projects, conducting site visits, and analyzing survey and field data to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as project or site supervisor for land survey or construction work
- Conduct site visits to gather relevant information
- Conduct technical analyses of survey and field data for development of topographic, soil, hydrological or other information and prepare reports
- Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations
- Survey and assess designated sites
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
- Discuss work with supervisor
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- 3-4 years of experience in a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
