Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lawyer to join our team at Boni Singbeil Stienstra LLP. As a Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients, ensuring their rights are protected and advocating on their behalf in various legal matters.
Our firm specializes in a wide range of legal areas, including family law, civil litigation, corporate and commercial law, real estate, Wills, Powers of Attorney & Health Care Directives, and Estate Administration.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough legal research to analyze cases and provide accurate and informed advice to clients
- Draft and review complex legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and pleadings, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Represent clients in court proceedings or before government agencies, utilizing strong negotiation and advocacy skills to achieve favorable outcomes
- Negotiate on behalf of clients to reach mutually beneficial settlements, leveraging expertise in legal writing and drafting
- Utilize legal databases like CanLii for case law research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the legal field
- Practicing law: 2 years of experience (preferred)
- Certification by Law Society to Practice Law in Manitoba (required)
