Our Peterborough warehouse plays a crucial role in our success, responsible for the storage, expedition, and reception of materials from/to construction sites across Canada. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and classify materials, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient storage.
  • Optimize warehouse space to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Prepare documentation for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Verify inventory accuracy and make adjustments as required in the computer system.
  • Perform and coordinate the repair and disposal of materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Purchase tooling as required for site mobilizations, working closely with the procurement team.
  • Operate equipment such as a forklift, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including data entry and record-keeping.

Requirements:

  • Secondary or post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Industrial construction experience, with a strong understanding of material handling and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with industrial tooling and equipment, an asset.
  • High sense of urgency, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good data entry skills, with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to drive a forklift, with a valid certification.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Prior warehouse and administrative work experience, an asset.
  • SAP experience, an asset.
  • Motivated, self-starter, with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking ability, with a high level of adaptability.
  • Team-player, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Good physical abilities, with the ability to lift loads of up to 45lbs.
  • Knowledge of French language, an asset.
