At Autodesk, we're committed to pushing the boundaries of human-computer interaction and AI research. We're seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our Human-Computer Interaction and Visualization research group.

About the Role

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will work closely with our Principal Research Scientist/Manager to design and implement research projects in the area of human-computer interaction and AI. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing software prototypes to support research projects
  • Conducting literature reviews and gathering requirements
  • Designing and implementing algorithms and experiments
  • Building prototypes to test and explore concepts
  • Conducting formal controlled psychological experiments to test research ideas and hypotheses
  • Measuring human performance and cognition limitations related to interaction with technology
  • Evaluating research findings and prototypes to make recommendations for improving business and products
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD in Computer Science or a related field, with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction
  • Demonstrable expertise in the area of interactive technologies, with peer-reviewed publications on the topic in international venues
  • 1+ years of experience with web development and frameworks
  • Experience working with unique hardware modules
  • 1+ years of experience developing software in a Windows environment
  • Experience with programming 3D graphics, Unity, Unreal Engine
