Ritz Furniture Planet Ltd. is seeking a skilled Furniture Craftsman to join our team.
Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Supervise other workers and ensure the quality of the final product.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dusty environment.
- Physically demanding work.
- Overtime required.
The Furniture Craftsman will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work site environment is dusty, and the job requires bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Personal Suitability- Accurate and reliable.
- Client-focused and values ethics.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
The Furniture Craftsman will work 30 to 40 hours per week and have a permanent work term. The work language is English.
