Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Trillium Montessori Educational Company Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Assess the children's development in order to prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and any concerns
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent
  • Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate or equivalent
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • Experience working with children with special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and manage a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
