About Kaiser Haus Wine Bar & Bistro

We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant team seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen staff. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including determining the size of food portions and costs, planning menus, and estimating food requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and organize buffets and banquets.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining a clean kitchen and work areas.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding.
