About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Jimmy the Greek. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to order, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are in good working order.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that meals are prepared and served efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Inspect food and kitchen areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
