About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist to join our team at CANUS ADVISORS LTD. as a key member of our IT infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Data Security: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Network Design: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Web Development: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts to meet business requirements.
  • Research and Development: Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines to improve online visibility.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and co-ordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models.
  • Client Communication: Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team to determine project requirements and study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified information security systems practitioner (CISSP), Certified software quality analyst (CSQA), Certified software tester (CSTE), Cisco certified internetwork expert (CCIE), Cisco certified network associate, Information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) Certification, International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft SQL Certification.
  • Technical Skills: Unix, JavaOS, Networking software, Networking hardware, Intranet, Servers, Enterprise Applications Integration (EAI), Mapping and data visualization software, SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD), Networks.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
