Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Raja Road Rail Services Ltd. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Education and Qualifications:
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Valid Air Brakes Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Experience and Skills:
    • Experience in long-haul truck driving is an asset
    • Ability to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks
    • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands:
    • Varied work locations, including various routes and territories
    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks
    • Willingness to travel cross-border, internationally, and overnight
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping:
    • Ability to maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, and fuel consumption
    • Knowledge of bill of lading, driver logbook, and inspection reports
  • Transportation and Travel:
    • Experience in international, long-haul, national, and regional transportation
    • Ability to adapt to changing routes and schedules
  • Personal Suitability:
    • Organized and detail-oriented
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Work Term and Hours:
    • Permanent position
    • 40 to 60 hours per week
