Fruiticana Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Fruiticana. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Scan items and calculate total payment for goods or services
  • Receive payment for goods or services and handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card transactions
  • Assist customers with self-checkout and provide support as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register area and surrounding environment
Work Environment:

Fruiticana is a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. As a Cashier, you will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a team-oriented setting.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
