The Senior Application Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting development teams by designing, implementing, enhancing, and managing our proprietary ERP System, SAMenu.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Management & Support: Oversee the configuration and administration of the SAMenu Application and Oracle Database environment (EWB, EBS, APX, among others) that integrates with various applications. Collaborate with Software and Database Developers to enhance and maintain our critical ERP System. Incident Management: Monitor, identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to SAMenu, continuously refining proactive incident management processes. On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in a paid on-call rotation to manage SAMenu operations and administrative tasks that require after-hours attention. Specification Review: Evaluate and approve specifications prepared by the Business Analysis team to address issues and facilitate change or enhancement requests. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with management and business analysts to prioritize, plan, and coordinate SAMenu development initiatives aimed at improving and automating business processes and M&A projects across the organization. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Partner with Software Architects, Enterprise Architects, and other Database & Application Administrators to identify opportunities for improvement and modernization of the SAMenu Application and Database landscape. Propose technical and procedural enhancements to mitigate incidents and ensure quality in development. Deployment Oversight: Authorize and implement developed solutions in production, managing the monthly freeze period effectively.Required Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 7+ years of experience in SAMenu development Advanced understanding of database architecture and data standards Proficient in PLSQL or similar database development languages Experience with Oracle Databases hosted on AWS Familiarity with MS Visual Studio, GIT, and Azure DevOps Server Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a collaborative mindset Excellent time-management and communication skills, both verbal and written Demonstrated accountability and independent judgmentBenefits to Enhance Your Life:
