Position Overview

JSW Welding Works Ltd. is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of a Welding Equipment Operator Helper. This position is ideal for those looking to start a career in the metal fabrication industry.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary; we provide comprehensive training.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a metal products manufacturing setting, contributing to the production of high-quality metal components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery designed for cleaning metal surfaces, effectively removing excess welds, rust, and other contaminants.
  • Assist skilled tradespeople, including structural steel fitters and metal machine operators, in various tasks.
  • Sort and categorize metal sheets, parts, and scrap materials.
  • Utilize hand tools to grind or chip away excess metal from products.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines and the surrounding work area.
  • Interpret and follow work orders accurately.
Safety and Security
  • Must be bondable.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and engage in physically demanding work.
  • Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail are essential.
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads, up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
