About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Director to join our team at Launch Recruiting Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our purchasing and warehouse departments, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Assign projects and programs to the purchasing and warehouse departments, driving strategic initiatives and process improvements.
    • Coordinate the activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
    • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Financial Management
    • Plan and control budget and expenditures, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
    • Review purchase order claims and contracts to determine compliance with company policy.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
    • Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services, making informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Team Management
    • Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
    • Advise senior management on supply chain-related matters, providing expert insights and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting
    • Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
    • Manufacturing environment.
  • Budgetary Responsibility
    • $8,000,001 or more.

    • 5-10 people.
