About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable Construction Laborer to join our team at Square Mile Development Inc. as a Construction Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in dusty conditions.
