Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including forklifts and other equipment.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and scrap materials through the plant.
- Feed conveyors, crushers, and other equipment, ensuring efficient production processes.
- Open valves and start pumps, as required.
- Sort, stack, bundle, and stamp materials, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Load and unload vehicles using forklifts or dollies, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
- Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs, or other stone products to specific shape or design, and to produce a smooth finish.
- Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, ensuring high-quality results.
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in mineral ore and metal processing.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent physical stamina, with ability to lift heavy loads (over 45 kg/100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment.
- Excellent oral communication skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- Ability to work in a noisy, odorous, and dusty environment, with regular exposure to heavy machinery and equipment.
