Actuarial Risk Analyst, Enterprise Risk Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Risk Analyst to join our Enterprise Risk Management team at ivari Holdings, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting all aspects of our ERM program, with a focus on risk reporting, climate risks, and asset liabilities management.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive and reliable risk models
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports for risk reporting
- Support the delivery of the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) in collaboration with the Corporate Actuarial department
- Work with asset/liability models to determine the impact of changes in portfolio and economic assumptions
- Support risk management reviews of individual insurance pricing projects as required
- Support regulatory changes and prepare analysis of new OSFI guidelines
- Conduct analysis on simulation results and risk metrics
- Become thoroughly familiar with AXIS, Excel, and other relevant tools
- Become thoroughly familiar with IFRS 17 accounting and LICAT requirements
- Gain exposure to core operations of a life insurance company by interacting with various business units in ivari Holdings, Inc.
- Ensure clear and concise communication to team and manager
- University degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics
- Progressing towards attainment of Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- Experience in insurance and actuarial work would be an asset
- Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills
- Knowledge of EXCEL and AXIS are required
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
