We're seeking a skilled Field Appraiser to join our team in the GTA region. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in evaluating mechanical or physical damages to vehicles and other assets.
About the Role:
- Conduct thorough field inspections to assess damages and provide accurate estimates.
- Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, and service providers to negotiate and agree on repair procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance products, appraisal techniques, and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with repair facilities and other service providers.
- Conduct re-inspections to ensure satisfactory completion of repairs.
- Communicate effectively with claims departments and coach other appraisers and adjusters as needed.
What You'll Bring:
- College diploma or university degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of customer service experience in a dealer or collision center setting.
- 3-5 years of experience in collision estimating, preferably with Audatex software.
- Autobody license preferred but not mandatory.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Ability to prepare auto repair estimates using Audatex Estimating Software.
- Computer literacy and effective verbal communication skills.
