We're seeking a skilled Field Appraiser to join our team in the GTA region. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in evaluating mechanical or physical damages to vehicles and other assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough field inspections to assess damages and provide accurate estimates.
  • Negotiate and communicate with shop owners and managers to ensure best repair practices.
  • Maintain current knowledge of insurance products and appraisal techniques.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with repair facilities and other service providers.
  • Conduct re-inspections to ensure satisfactory completion of repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with claims departments and coach other appraisers and adjusters as needed.

Requirements:

  • College diploma or university degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience in a dealer or collision center setting.
  • 3-5 years of experience in collision estimating, preferably with Audatex software.
  • Autobody license preferred but not mandatory.
  • Clean driver's abstract.
  • Ability to prepare auto repair estimates using Audatex Estimating Software.
  • Computer literacy and effective verbal communication skills.
