About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at PLEA Community Services Society of British Columbia. As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our HR department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training: Assist in the development and implementation of education and training programs for staff, including workshops and online courses.
  • Employee Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including creating and distributing new hire packets and scheduling orientation sessions.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including dental, disability, health care, and vision care plans.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Support the recruitment and hiring process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • HR Systems and Data: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HR systems, including employee information, benefits, and performance data.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an HR role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
