Poultry Farm Foreman/Woman Job Description

Moonfleet Poultry Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Poultry Farm Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our poultry farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our animals, and maintaining the highest standards of farm safety and bio-security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
  • Monitor animal health and implement measures to prevent disease
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times
  • Maintain quality control and production records
  • Hire and train staff as needed
  • Perform general farm duties as required
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to work independently
Working Conditions:
  • Work under pressure in a physically demanding environment
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Large workload with overtime required
