Moonfleet Poultry Services is seeking a dedicated Poultry Operations Supervisor to oversee our poultry farming activities. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in livestock management and a passion for animal care.

Job Overview
  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Language of Work: English
  • Weekly Hours: 44 hours
  • Required Education: Secondary school graduation certificate
  • Experience Needed: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Environment: Involves working in chicken and turkey farming settings, which may be hazardous, dusty, hot, noisy, and outdoors.
  • Work Setting: Rural and remote locations with staff accommodation options available.
  • Key Responsibilities: Managing animal care, monitoring health, coordinating and supervising farm workers, ensuring adherence to safety and bio-security protocols, maintaining production records, and performing general farm tasks.
  • Supervision: Responsible for overseeing 11-15 staff members.
  • Specialization Area: Agricultural livestock services with a focus on poultry.
  • Security and Safety Checks: Criminal record and driver's license validity checks required.
  • Transportation and Travel: Vehicle provided by employer; willingness to travel is necessary.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced work environment requiring the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle a physically demanding workload.
