- Support the project manager and site supervisor in achieving optimal project outcomes, focusing on budget, timeline, safety, and quality standards.
- Facilitate comprehensive construction coordination, strategic planning, and the identification of potential risks while addressing technical challenges on-site.
- Conduct quantity takeoffs and assessments to effectively track contract progress and reporting metrics.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with trade partners through activities such as issuing tender documents, defining work scopes, responding to inquiries, and monitoring project advancement.
- Assist in managing change processes, including evaluating pricing, processing requests, and assessing impacts on cost and schedule.
- Oversee the request for information (RFI) process, as well as the management of shop drawings and submittals.
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as required.
- Contribute to project closeout activities, including the organization of documents, maintenance planning, and warranty management.
- Identify and assist in resolving technical issues encountered in the field.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience within the construction sector.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry, including equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, materials, quality control, safety protocols, construction sequences, and building codes.
- Ability to apply fundamental engineering principles and problem-solving skills to construction-related challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Capability to develop a detailed project schedule and manage subcontractor agreements and contract documentation.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong willingness to learn new technologies.
