Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team in Mississauga. As an RPN with Spectrum Health Care, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their health goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on wound management, infusion therapy, palliative care, and chronic disease management.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify areas of need, and develop personalized care plans to address these needs.
- Travel within your region to visit patients in their homes, providing care and support as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of nursing experience, with a focus on community nursing.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Ability to work independently in the community, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, with additional languages an asset.
- Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Experience with infusion therapy, mental health, palliative care, and wound care.
- Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills.
