Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Public Health department in Dawson Creek. As a key member of our team, you will provide dental health prevention and promotion services to communities and populations in Northern Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Dental Hygienists of British Columbia.
  • Provide dental health prevention and promotion services to communities and populations in Northern Health.
  • Work collaboratively with the Program Lead and other healthcare professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement community-based dental health programs and services.
  • Conduct client assessments and provide treatment plans to promote optimal oral health.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene from the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals.
  • Current registration and licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the Province of British Columbia.
  • Minimum one (1) year recent, related dental hygiene experience including experience in a community health organization or the equivalent working with children, youth, and their families.
  • Current valid BC driver's license and use of personal vehicle for business use.
