We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to oversee our culinary operations at Dogg House Tavern. This role requires a strong focus on quality and efficiency in food preparation and service.
Qualifications:- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
- Lead and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure that all food and service offerings adhere to established quality control standards.
- Maintain comprehensive records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Prepare and present detailed reports as required.
- Oversee the assembly of food trays and ensure proper delivery of food trolleys.
- Manage a team of 3-4 individuals, including food service counter attendants and kitchen helpers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong client focus and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal communication abilities.
