We are seeking a skilled Assistant Cook to join our team at Jimmy's Place Pizza & Donair. As an Assistant Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes for our customers.
Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet the high standards of our customers.
- Dietary Accommodations: Create dishes for customers with dietary restrictions, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
- Special Meals: Cook special meals for patients based on dietary instructions, demonstrating your ability to work with sensitive information.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory and maintain records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is always stocked and ready to meet the demands of our customers.
- Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas regularly, maintaining a clean and organized workspace that meets the high standards of our customers.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility in your work schedule and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Organization Skills: Possess strong organization skills, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Team Player Mentality: Demonstrate a team player mentality, working collaboratively with our staff to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.
- Effective Time Management: Possess effective time management skills, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Fluent in English: Be fluent in English, ensuring that you can communicate effectively with our customers and staff.
- Availability: Be available to work 35 hours per week, ensuring that our kitchen is always staffed and ready to meet the demands of our customers.
