Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Yaletown Animal Hospital. As a key member of our hospital team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, managing client communications, and supporting the care of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Manage client communications, including phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
- Provide exceptional client service, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering support and guidance.
- Support the care of our patients, including preparing medical records, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with veterinarians and other hospital staff.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, billing, and inventory management.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary care and technology.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or animal care setting an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
