Vancouver Veterinary Receptionist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate veterinary receptionist to join our team at the Vancouver Animal Emergency and Referral Centre (VAERC).
The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of experience as a receptionist in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter, with a strong command of veterinary terminology, common veterinary medical conditions/emergencies, and veterinary "shorthand".
They will possess exceptional client service skills, be able to work without direct supervision, and have above-average time management skills. Additionally, they will have a good understanding of practice management software and electronic medical records, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.
The role of the Client Care Specialist (CCS) is to strengthen the client, animal, veterinary bond through exceptional client service and education. The CCS is vital to the success of our hospital, serving as the first and last point of client contact.
The salary for this position is $58,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience. VCA Canada offers a range of benefits, including RRSP Employer Match Program, VCA Canada RRSP Student Loan, and competitive wages and health/dental benefits.
