We are excited to announce an opening for a Regional Director of Operations at CDI College.
Position: Regional Director of Operations
Job Status: Full-time, Onsite
Location: Vancouver, BC
Reports to: Director of Strategy and Business Development
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9 to 5 with flexibility
Salary: 90,000-135,000 per year

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Regional Director of Operations plays a pivotal role in steering the operational success of multiple campuses while aligning with the mission to transform lives through education. This position entails regular visits to various campuses to ensure effective management and operational excellence.
Specific Duties Include:
- Overseeing the comprehensive operations of several campuses;
- Engaging in the formulation, execution, and assessment of corporate and regional strategies to meet financial and educational goals;
- Monitoring Key Performance Indicators and ensuring that action plans are established to support the Company's Mission, Vision, and Values;
- Inspiring and guiding the Admissions Department to meet sales objectives;
- Providing insights and recommendations based on Budget and Variance reports;
- Ensuring student retention and placement rates align with company standards;
- Facilitating regular meetings and effective communication with Campus Directors and staff;
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, regulatory standards, and security protocols;
- Offering guidance and direction to Campus Directors, including approval of staffing decisions;
- Analyzing and proposing solutions to address operational challenges;
- Collaborating with the Director of Strategy and Business Development on recruitment and operational matters for new campuses;
- Providing financial oversight to Campus Directors to achieve budgetary goals;
- Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Business Development on operational performance metrics;
- Implementing and assessing action plans to support the strategic objectives of the Career College Division.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or education;
- A minimum of five years' experience in operational management within the educational sector, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in presentations and business writing;
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and support teams;
- Capability to motivate and foster teamwork;
- Expertise in the education sector's operational landscape;
- Strong financial and budget management skills;
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision;
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks;
- Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with external agencies;
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills with timely decision-making abilities;
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure;
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to quality service;
- Proficient in current business information technology.
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed;
- Frequent travel to visit campuses is required.
