Job Title: Precision Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Precision Machinist to join our team at Groupe Megatech Inc. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision machine tools to produce high-quality parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts using precision measuring instruments
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet quality and production standards
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in precision machining
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative
  • Dependability and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
