Precision Machinist

Groupe Megatech Inc. is seeking a skilled Precision Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision machine tools to produce high-quality parts and components.
Key Responsibilities:- Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
- Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance.
- Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet quality and production standards.
- Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
- Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in precision machining or a related field.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
